to my brand new page “wolf in scotland”. Actually, this is already the second version, but as the title of the first one seemed too pathetic, I never published it. Good sign though as I feel better the longer I am here.

Yet, my reasons to be here are manifold and you will find them spread over the page. Browsing through it, you will notice that it is not all that sad. Indeed, I plan to emphasize the beauty of this country whereever I can. However, as a foreigner, I might have a different perception on some aspects of life here and I will not stand behind with my opinion.

It might be a surprise for you that I write this in English. I thought about it for a while and, as I am in an English speaking country here, I decided that English is the right choice. Maybe I will add a German section to it as soon as I find the time (not very likely to happen though, because time became a precious good since I am here).

For those of you being Scottish, please do not feel offended by what I write. I was not raised in this country and some aspects of Scottish life and society are foreign to me. It does not mean that I do not respect them.

Navigating through the page is rather simple. Use the buttons on the left side or the links at the buttom of every section. They will lead you through different topics and stations of my life here.
